I’m into technology, but I’m not a gadget freak. I work in the industry and know about lots of products, technologies and their roles in the enterprise. But I’m more interested in how consumer electronics are affecting change in business and the home.
I love movies. I’ve seen thousands over the years. I can watch a dozen movies over a weekend.
I love to cook and dine. I’ve been doing the cooking for the past few years as my wife became handicapped. Now I use local ingredients, in season, to make interesting and according to my guests, delicious food. My favorite entertainment (other than movies) is eating in a fine restaurant. Henry’s End in Brooklyn Heights is my local favorite. My favorite of all time at the moment is Per Se.
What I do all day is read. It’s an addiction. I start reading as soon as my eyes are clear enough in the morning and stop when I go to bed. I read while watching TV. I read on the subway. At least 75% of my work is reading (with writing). I don’t read while driving. Science Fiction and American History mostly.
